Carbon Monoxide (CO) is produced by the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels - eg gas, oil and coal from engines, oil burners, gas fires, water heaters, solid fuel burners and vehicles. As it has no smell, taste or colour, it is important to have a reliable CO alarm installed.
Battery operated (3 AA included), it works even if there's a power-cut and its 85db alarm will sound whilst you sleep.
Its peak level memory alerts you if CO was detected while you were out. A warning signal alerts you when the batteries are wearing out, or when the unit needs replacing.
