Carbon monoxide (CO) is produced by the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels – e.g. gas, oil and coal from engines, oil burners, gas fires, water heaters, solid fuel burners and vehicles. As it has no smell, taste or colour, it is important to have a reliable CO alarm with you.
This portable alarm features electrochemical technology and provides a continuous digital display of CO levels, and an 85dB alarm, which sounds well before carbon monoxide levels reach a critical point. It also has a ‘peak level memory' which records the highest level of CO reached when you are absent from the property plus a back-lit display for visibility at night.
It is battery operated (3 x AAA batteries included) and has a freestanding capability, making it perfect for use at home or abroad.
