Here's a chance to grow a real piece of history as this mulberry tree is propagated from ‘budwood' that was carefully taken from the original mulberry tree planted by James 1 in London's Charlton Park. The King wanted to emulate the Belgian silk industry but planted black mulberries which do not support silkworms! However the tree is fascinating with glossy leaves and a succulent purple fruit.
One plant supplied in a 3 ltr pot (height approx. 140cm including pot) costs £34.95, or save £10 when you buy two for £59.90.
All orders received by 12th December will be despatched before Christmas.
