It weighs just 710grams and requires 4 x AA batteries (not supplied).

The ‘Deluxe’ model (MU606) has all the same great features listed above, but a wider 20cm detector, an extra adjustable arm rest for comfort, plus it distinguishes between ferrous/non-ferrous and aluminium metal. It also has ground adjustment, 3.5mm headphone socket, built in speaker and volume, sensitivity, tune and discrimination controls.
