Solar Mate 2 Solar Powered Lighting Kit

Solar Mate 2 illuminates those out-of-the-way places which could benefit from decent, workable lighting conditions without the need or expense of laying armoured mains cable – the garden shed, greenhouse, summer house, garage or even as emergency lighting during a power failure.

Exempt from Part P of the Building regulations, Solar Mate 2 can be easily and safely installed by anyone.

The SolarMate 2 solar lighting kit is designed to provide up to the equivalent of 80watts of mains-free lighting for 7 hours per day, and the super-efficient solar panels will even charge up in cloudy conditions.

1 x 10Watt crystalline solar panel (35-yr life expectancy)

2 x 12V (3000 hour) 9Watt energy-saving bulb

2 x bulb holder

On/off wall switch

7m cable

All terminals, screws, battery crocodile clips and fixings required

Please note: A 12V battery is also needed (minimum 35Ah) for this system to work.
